The area is well known for outdoor activities, including walking, climbing, gorge scrambling, canyoning, white-water rafting, sailing and much more.

Along the coastline there are villages and towns with cafes, restaurants and shops to enjoy at your leisure. The nearest town being Harlech with its beautiful beach, but perhaps more significant for its renowned medieval castle, sitting atop a sheer, rocky crag. If it’s fun and buzz you prefer, Barmouth is a 15 minute drive away.

Llanbedr itself boasts 3 village pubs with high quality food and drink (the nearest being across the neighbouring medieval bridge). A village shop stocks nearly everything you’re likely to need, including locally sourced products. With the addition of a café, a gift shop and hairdressers, there’s a lovely community spirit about Llanbedr that feels special.
